The Vehicle summary screen is the home screen for vehicle selection, vehicle editing, and application settings. To change vehicles simply swipe across the screen to the next vehicle. The page indicators indicate the number of vehicles and the current selection. The example above shows us we are on vehicle 1 of 2.
The statistics displayed are a combination of gas, expenses, and trip data from the current selected vehicle’s data. Values with the small green indicator in front of them indicate that these values are derived based on the entries selected in each respective area. These value will be the same on this screen and the table footers for the specific areas. Gas, expenses and trip data are specific to the vehicle selected and will change with each vehicle change.
By pressing on the image area on the summary screen the user is directed to the vehicle edit screen. Here a new picture can be selected from the devices photo album or is an iPhone user a picture can be taken using the built in camera. When taking pictures with the iphone camera it is best to turn the device to landscape mode so a 4x3 aspect ratio is captured. The images yield the best result with 800x600 pictures.
By default the application comes preloaded with one vehicle and the system will not allow you to have less than 1 vehicle. New vehicles can be added to the system here as well as deleting the current vehicle. It is best to email yourself all entries before deleting a vehicle.
